Zebra Technologies and Clearview are bringing partners and customers a newly launched Industrial Automation Centre of Excellence (ACE). This new facility, which is situated in Oxfordshire, UK, an innovation powerhouse, is expected to grow into an essential resource for machine vision specialists, logistics firms, and producers throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Zebra Technologies and Clearview ACE
ACE will provide important services like training, advisory support, and practical demonstrations. By assisting companies and experts in understanding machine vision, 3D, and AI technologies, the ACE is intended to enhance asset visibility and facilitate more intelligent automated processes. The timing of this endeavour is critical because numerous European businesses believe AI can spur growth. Still, they struggle to manage quality control and keep up with emerging technologies. The ACE will address the critical demand for workers to have improved data and digital skills by offering essential education and development opportunities.
The ACE is intended to be a thriving hub for confidence-building and networking. The ACE will assist companies in turning their technological investments into real value by emphasizing troubleshooting and providing impartial feasibility reports for proof-of-concept projects. The goal is to create the most effective automation solutions possible by closing the gap between the latest technologies and user expertise.

Other ACEs and Innovation Hubs
In June this year, KION showcased its commitment to advancing smart logistics operations and supporting its customers' automation journey with its newly upgraded Automation Center of Excellence. The Asia-Pacific ACE is expected to support growing investment in manufacturing, research and development, customer-focused services, software, and other areas, all while expanding KION’s product portfolio.
The intentions behind the upgraded ACE also focus on innovation and collaboration, serving as the beating heart of evolving automated industrial businesses. KION has extended its hand to acquire skills and knowledge concerning the latest advancements in AI-driven technologies for automated industrial systems, partnering with NVIDIA and Accenture to enhance its existing product, solution, and service offerings.
Linde Material Handling attended the high-profile ceremony, accompanied by company executives, business partners, and customers. Linde MH signed several agreements with Chinese automation distributors during the ceremony and revealed a new line of robot handling to enhance production line and overall operational efficiency. A top-notch learning environment based in Ede, the Emerson Digital Experience Center, introduces guests to Emerson's cutting-edge measurement and control technology. With both wired and wireless sensors linked to its DeltaVTM distributed control system, the center demonstrates Emerson's Boundless Automation approach through practical demonstrations of edge computing, flow and vibration measurement via a flow-rig, smart field devices (for wireless gas monitoring and ultrasonic gas leakage detection), and communication through, WirelessHART, Bluetooth, Ethernet-APL, and 5G. Through experiential education, learners can experience real-time corrosion detection, gas leak monitoring, flow and vibration analysis, and security systems—all in a practical environment—that are intended to improve long-term sustainability, efficiency, and security.
Why we need Industrial ACEs
Industrial ACEs encourage partnerships, collaboration, innovative thought, and innovation. They serve as a central hub for developing new and potentially game-changing technologies, evaluating suitable materials and system/machine processes, testing, developing industry-recognized standards across industrial machinery and software, and cybersecurity.
